This vintage  features a fireplace mantel with a banner that reads "Joyeux Noël," which is French for "Merry Christmas." A boy in a striped shirt and black beret kneels in front of the fireplace with his tiny white poodle. The back of the ornament shows logs in the fireplace and the year 1988.

This ornament is from Hallmark's Windows of the World series, which included various scenes from around the world and Christmas greetings in each language.

There is paint scratched off the boy's ear, but the ornament is otherwise in nice vintage condition and has a hook at the top for easy hanging. The bottom is flat, so it can also sit on a shelf instead. The back is marked "1988 Hallmark Cards, Inc."
