Crafted from silk habutai hand screen-printed with Megan’s original fillagree design, showcasing chrysanthemums in a delicate black on an earthy blush pink.

The molly dress has a 1920s-inspired loose fit with three-quarter sleeves. Featuring button-down fastening along the entire centre back, patch pockets, a low boat neck bodice, high-waist, and elegant box pleats. Finished with a delicate pleat detail around the waist.

With it's slight sheerness and ultra-lightweight fabric, pair with nude underwear to wear on it's own or layered over a bathing costume. The mid-calf length adds a feminine touch.

behind the design

From a delicate ink drawing of spider chrysanthemums Megan created this wonderful fillagree design. Her intuitive placement of the flowers and the negative space pays homage to japanese woodblock art.
